The Haifa BRT Network began operating service in 2013 after years of planning and construction.
Dr. Robert Ishaq spearheaded the creation of the service program in parallel to a systematic re-organization of the entire public transit network in Haifa, Nesher, Tirat Carmel, and the Krayot.
The project was performed on behalf of Yefe Nof and the Israeli Department of Transportation.
In addition to the 5 currently operating BRT lines, three more lines are planned to begin service in the next five years: Akko, Tirat HaCarmel, and Neot Peres.
